Taylor R.

I am unique because I believe every child has unfixed potential, and when nurtured can grow plenteously. Every child has their own pace and style of learning that should always be fostered and explored. There is no one perfect way to teach and I pride myself on flexible teaching approaches that create a positive learning experiences which is important to a child’s confidence because those experiences ultimately affect their performance in school.

People would be surprised to know that I am a two-time published poet! My sixth-grade language arts teacher had us write a poem for a winter and spring poetry contest and I won both times. My poems were published in the winter and spring edition.

I would be an ideal fit for families who have children in elementary school and who may need an out of the box approach to thinking and learning to keep their child engaged or to simply cater to the way they learn. I am very flexible and creative with my teaching style which would be perfect for a child who needs various approaches to understand a complex concept in order to catch up to their grade level or to keep them on track.
